NVIDIA is the first company accredited by the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) to establish the Halos AI Systems Inspection Lab, creating a unified framework for functional safety, cybersecurity, and AI compliance. It begins with a structured kickoff meeting where detailed inspection checklists are shared with the customer, setting clear expectations from day one. Once all audits are complete, a comprehensive inspection report is issued.
The Halos AI Systems Inspection Lab complements existing certification efforts by focusing on safer and more secure integration with Halos elements, providing structured documentation outcomes that can be used in follow-up certification activities. These documents can also serve as supporting evidence for final system certification or type approval, helping streamline the path to compliance while making integration faster, easier, and safer.
The NVIDIA Halos AI Systems Inspection Lab is accredited for ISO/IEC 17020 by ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB), which is recognized in 80 countries, including China. ISO/IEC 17020 is widely used by inspection bodies globally, and an international treaty facilitates mutual recognition of certificates from accredited bodies.
